The OakTec Datalogging Webserver is a versatile data collecting device. It was designed to collect analog and digital information from machines in an industrial environment. This information is presented to the user via an Ethernet connection.

The Datalogger can be configured and its inputs viewed from Internet Explorer running on a networked PC. Data can be logged with a date-timestamp in the 1Gbyte non-volatile storage within the device. Logged data can then be uploaded to the PC for analysis using applications such as Microsoft Excel.

A number of OakTec Datalogging Webservers can be networked and viewed from one or multiple computers.

The entire user-interface can be supported through any web browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer), or a multi-line LCD with a membrane keypad can be the user interface.

In addition to logging, many machine functions can be controlled using the devices' configurable outputs. For example, the machine can be disabled, or alarms set based on information collected.

This embedded Webserver is designed to simplify changes to the hardware and software to support custom applications. Changes can be made quickly and cost-effectively.

  • Up to 10 analog inputs with 10 bit resolution
  • Digital I/O: up to 30 digital signals (any combination of inputs and outputs) - TTl I/O voltages
  • Several input/output types available - optically isolated, relay or solid-state relay outputs, wide voltage range for analog inputs, TTL
  • RS232 Serial port
  • Other I/O options: USB host or slave port, PWM outputs, analog outputs, LED's, alphanumeric display and keypad are available for custom applications
